I agree, that's why I think it's bs we cannot find OBL, AZ, but we can find several #3 operatives. How can there be more than 1 #3 operative.. well, maybe that's as high as dubya can count. 😛
Yeah...just how many coffee makers and photocopiers *does* al Qaeda have?

The Saddam/Spider Hole thing was a set up. Like the Jessica Lynch thing. Like the Tillman thing.

It's all propaganda. All BS.

Zarqawi -- one leg, lung punctured by a bullet, has outrun the U.S. forces in Iraq for over two years.

Uh huh.

He's the boogeyman. The Islamic Freddie Kruger.

We didn't land on the moon either, and a UFO crashed in Roswell. Don't forget those.

Hehehe, so true.
People like CAD still don't see it that way. Having one's head stuck so far up bush's behind prevents one from having a clear view.

You wouldn't be dismissing the *admitted* lies about Tillman and the proven lies surrounding Lynch now, would you?

And, the PUK caught Saddam for us:

Do you read your own articles?

But perhaps the mother of all conspiracy theories, is the one about the pictures distributed by the Americans showing the hideout with a palm tree behind the soldier who uncov ered the hole where Saddam was hiding. The palm carried a cluster of pre-ripened yellow dates, which might suggest that Saddam was arrested at least three months earlier, because dates ripen in the summer when they turn into their black or brown colour.

My statements are in that context. If you are going to be a crazy fvcking loon that advocates conspiricy theories you better go all the way.

Yes, I do. However, it seems you have little or no reading comprehension. Note that the "mother of all conspiracy theories" relates to the "pre-ripened yellow dates" as proof it was staged. I don't buy that. You might want to go back up and read the paragraphs above that showing how the PUK found Saddam.

It's all a consipiracy theory, I've read it before.

The American Sheeple don't like to imagine the insurgency as a group of Iraqis disgruntled with our mess of a war/occupation...they want to imagine the insurgency as one evil man. And poof, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi was born.

Face it...our nation likes to pass the blame to someone. Zarqawi will exist as long as there is an insurgent problem in Iraq. If Zarqawi was ever really caught or confirmed dead, the American Sheeple would start asking all the wrong questions (according to Bush) about the insurgency...and the Propagandist's ratings would plummet even further.

Bush needs a bump in the polls. Maybe they'll announce Zarqawi's death. Why else would they announce he's been wounded? He's wounded is the set up for he's dead. Then they can produce a nice patriotic saga about the heroic events that led up to the defeat of evil.

They can create another boogeyman easily enough. These sheeple will believe anything.

Does anyone believe Zarqawi is the resistance? He's their Sanchez or Abizaid?

As we learned in Vietnam (I thought) and again on 9/11 -- guerilla command structure is diffuse. They work in independent cells, remember? The only order they need is, here's a few hundred million dollars and a couple hundred thousand pounds of high density explosives. Go blow things up.

This is getting serious.

And this morning the TV set actually showed me pictures of Zarqawi that it had never showed me before. It even included a couple of seconds of what appeared to be video but looked more like an animated GIF.

The foreign minister of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah is on C-Span1 right now.

In other news, another "aide" of the boogeyman was captured yesterday. This guy has more aides than the Congress and Senate bureaucracy combined. They must be stepping on their collective toes all the time bringing him papers to sign.

You are so engrossed in your hatred that you are creating consipiracies. Well you've been doing that all along but this is absolutely silly. The first annoncement that he was wounded was on an Al Queda web site. In fact the Iraqi annoncement looked like nothing more than some second rate official trying to take credit for something that they had nothing to do with. I have not seen a SINGLE story where the US tries to take resonsibility for wounding him even though given the recent offensive in western Iraq that's the most likely scenario. I doubt that we would even know he was wounded had Al Queda not announced that he was. Next you will be telling us the bush admin secretly runs that al queda web site and has recruited oliver north to sell them weapons so he can fund Bush's attempt to destroy social security. And I have no doubt you think something like that is possible and that is why you are crazy.

While I may not have as many conspiracy theories, it's utterly foolish to think that our government operates transparently. This administration, in particular, has done more open-doors spinning than any I can recall...it's scary to think what's happening behind closed-doors.

Well, some Iraqi official was saying Superman was killed recently but we also read reports from US officials that an "al Qaeda" website was saying he has recovered (pretty quick recovery from a bullet to the lung!)

Anyway, I think we'll find more of the truth here:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20050603/ts_nm/iraq_zarqawi_dc
But a senior U.S. military official on Friday played down any suggestion that the net was tightening on America's most-wanted man after Osama bin Laden, even if there are indications, he said, that Zarqawi's group is in turmoil.

"I can say categorically that I am not aware of anybody having a definite sighting of Zarqawi at any particular place at any particular time," the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told a group of reporters at a briefing in Baghdad.

"I can't tell you that we saw him on March 27, or that we saw him in Ramadi hospital...

"There are a lot of Zarqawi sightings going on and it's a case of which one do you roll to and why is it that that tip is more valuable than the last one," he said, suggesting that many tips on Zarqawi's whereabouts prove to be non-starters.
