Crazy Lady says "k2 is the devil and should be illegal" and is getting laughed at and torn to shreds in the comments. I highly doubt she is getting the reception she expected.

What people fail to realize is that all of these made up drugs and all of these created substances have about 0.01% of the 'market share' of illegal drugs. Marijuana has an astounding 56.6% share and Painkillers, the next biggest drug at 22.5%, and then you have Inhalants at 9.7%. (Stats from the 2008 National Survey for Drug Use). This means LSD, PCP, Crack, Cocaine, Heroin, Sedatives, Etc. all combined (including K2 and all these other BS drugs) have a total of 11.2% hold. So what does all this mean? Legalize Marijuana, forget about K2, teach kids that you die if you do Whippits, and tell parents to lay off the painkillers if you want change.

K2 was virtually unknown until the media hyped up its presence at tobacco and novelty shops.

That is most certainly how FOAF got started in drugs.

I don't need to try it to know that it's bad. I'll bet this person never used Cyanide. How does he know that it's bad until he tries it for himself. Most of those responses are full of logical fallacies. I didn't actually read the full article because it sounded pretty dumb, but the commenters were even worse.

If she wants to announce that this stuff is bad, awesome. She can use her org's funds to put up billboards. As soon as she wants to tell us what we can and can't do, she needs to shut up. I'm going to come up with an article explaining why women like her should no longer be allowed to have sex and reproduce, saying "it's bad and could be dangerous, therefore should be illegal".

I like the comment in the first article about how making these drugs illegal will make it harder for dealers to push them on to kids. Uh, if the drug is already legal for kids to buy (and it is) they won't NEED a freaking dealer.

Not really a huge pro-legalization fan but I agree with a lot of other people (and studies) that pot is no more harmful than alcohol.
