Biden administration recently created a national database for police abuse and discipline records Dec 2023.

If Trump is elected that database will be destroyed

We all know in America walking while black is suspicious. Also exercising your constitutional rights while black will get you arrested.

When I say “we” I don’t include people like @Greenman @pcgeek11 @FelixDeCat @brandonbull because they are still under the assumption black people are treated equally by the criminal justice system. For their own reasons.

I just gotta say we have entered a new era. That body cam footage is pure gold and in the old days this would have gone unnoticed, unpublished, and zero accountability. As angry as this scene makes me I know this is better by a huge measure.

I asked my good friend the OO, and he agreed that this deserves its own thread.

Anyone surprised? I sure am not.

Just another day in TRUMPISTAN (ultra red Oklahoma) where you can't even take a walk with your son to stay fit..

We'll have it fixed so good,
you won't have to vote!

Don't think, don't claim you have rights
Just do what you're told!

That type of data base has been needed for a long time. A lot more bad cops are out there than we realize. I've been watching these types of videos on YT for a while now. I'm following these YT channels that have the original videos with insightful and informed commentary. I didn't realize how much our civil rights are violated everyday by cops. When cops stop you and start asking unnecessary questions like where are you going, where are you coming from, do you live around here, I need your ID then they are probably formulating a reason to search you, detain you, arrest you, etc. This is how they are being trained.

If it's that bad for white people.. imagine how it is for minorities and especially when there weren't body cams..

A police badge was basically license to kill anyone you want.

My issue I don’t know how to resolve is this: Someone seems to be using X to expose bad policing that could lead to good things, but I made a personal decision not to use that site. I think Musk is dangerously mental and I want his capacity to influence others to fail.

It’s like he struck a match among moths that use the moon to navigate. They burn their wings because they can’t feel the heat. Do or do I not follow my moral compass?

“Makes me wonder!” < Anybody know the group and the song? I can’t remember. I’ll look it up.

Jesus how could I forget that.

Know your rights! All three of ‘em.
Are they?:

Anything you say will be used against you.

Failure to answer will be seen as an admission of guilt

You will be assured a speedy trial in a kangaroo court

You know how defenders of police abusing black people say, “just comply and everything will be fine”. Exercising your rights is not a failure to comply. There was a video of a cop pulling
over a black man for a faulty tail light. The cop demanded license and registration. The man immediately complied and the white cop shot the black man. If that wasn't disgusting enough the black man was apologizing to that white cop.

Made my stomach turn knots.

That cop will likely be fired and the department (taxpayers) will have to pay a settlement to the victim.

Not long ago, before everything was being filmed, that dirty cop would have gotten away with it.

Make sure to tack on enough to pay for the kids ptsd treatment in the law suit.

Good god what a couple of power tripping dumb asses.
Good thing the body cam was on. I think that should be required of all police actions.

Here's another good YT channel to follow.

Recent video. Cops immediately escalate and repeatedly use their tasers.

Nice little preview of what to expect from the GOP in the future, should they take power. Especially since Oklahoma isn't a stop and identify state. I don't generally take my ID with me when I'm going for a walk, because why do I need ID to go for a walk?
"Just found it a little bit suspicious, you know?" an officer said.
"What?" Sexton asked.
"Just walking around," the officer said.
"Walking around is a little bit suspicious?" Sexton asked.
"Technically, not really. But I mean, it is pretty early in the morning," the officer said.
Sexton said the morning walk is something he and his son do regularly.
"Coming here at 5 a.m. Walking around," the officer said.
"Yeah, we do that!" Sexton said.
"No you're not," an officer said. "Give me your ID."
When Sexton didn't give the officer his ID, the situation escalated.
"I'll take you to jail for failure to identify," the officer said.
But Sexton said the ID wasn't on him.
"I don't have it. It's at the house," Sexton said.
The officers then slammed the man to the ground and detained him while his son watched and wailed. An officer then brought Sexton to his patrol car.
"Shut up and listen just a minute. We had small enough suspicion to identify you," the officer said.
"What was I being detained for?" Sexton asked.
"We don't know what you were doing! We can call it criminal activity," the officer said.

When Steve posts a cop video. It is pretty bad. And this is no exception

TLDR: cops taze and let a dog attack an innocent man
