I'm just looking for a sick deal on mobo and ram to pair with a e2180 that will get me to 3.2Ghz.

Want it as cheap as possible because I have to buy a graphics card too; probably going to get a 3870 or 8800GT, or 3850+xfire later if the board has 2 PCI-express 16 lanes.

E2180 default is 200 x10=2GHz.

3.2GHz is considering the Max that is probable with No special cooling.

3GHz is more plausible.

To run 3GHz the CPU need to be set to 300 x 10 = 3GHz

There are two variables that are associated with such increase.

1. The Vcore of the CPU would need to be raised (sometimes up to 1.5V).

2. The RAM to CPU speed need to be able to be reduced so that the RAM would be within its frequency.

In principle any Motherboard that allow the flexibilities as mentioned above have a Very Good chance to Run E2180 at 3GHz with stock HSF.

The favorite of the enthusiasts is the Abit IE35, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813127031

The above is a short summary.
