I have gone out of faith from the Symantic company as of late, and would like to know of any good suggestions for any good free/opensource disk imaging software.

Someone told me bitreader or something like that. I forgot the full name. 🙁
 
i can't seem to find a lot from sourcefourge. that selfimage site was from a quick google search. I'd much prefer one from sourceforge.
