I :heart: erowid. It's any drug users home. As far as absinthe goes, it is just alochol. Nothing more. I have read that if you drink it habitutally, you will feel the effects of the wormwood, but it takes awhile for it work, something like a few months.

when i was in cancun...i took 2 shots of absinthe....it tastes like ******...i didnt chase it with anything...and i didn't notice anything special, besides the fact that it gave me a really quick and heavy buzz...viva la mexico!! another kid that was in mexico with me drank a whole fifth of it and he pretty much died....but the next day he was back in action!
