Above DDR400

I don't think i see any motherboards saying they support 240pin ddrxxx and what not. only ddr400, but i see people using pc4000 and what not and im wondering which ones it works on?

They only support ddr400 because that is the max for the pentum 4. If you have the Extreme Edition with 1066 FSB (i.e 266 FSB) then you can use ddr533, otherwise it all depends on how well the motherboard is at overclocking the FSB.

You can stick a DDR500, or whatever else above 400, module into a PC, it'll just run at 400 speeds unleas you OC the FSB.
