About your Optical mouse!

My first experience w/ Optical mouse was the first gen. Microsoft's last year. Used around 5 months, and it start crashing my system. (I have it connect w/ PS2, and my system is on 247)

Today, I decided to try Logitech's Optical mouse though PS2 w/ UT.
It crashed my system in 2 min while playing UT.

This is rather disappointing.... do you guys having similar problem?
Or any suggestion? Install through USB?

Why wouldn't you want to install via USB? Its a lot smoother.

The reason I don't install USB port, cos I don't like IRQ sharing.
If I do install via USB, then it is going to share either my IEEE 1394 or sound.

The Logitech Wheelmouse Optical via USB is the best mouse I ever had. Fast, responsive, reliable, smooth, looks very good... And not expensive!
