Which one?
Dawn of War 1 or Dawn of War 2?

I can only comment on the first one. Its pretty good for MP, but I still prefer single player because I hate to socialize. If I had to do MP, I'd rather play Dawn of War than many others.
 
Short answer is yes, this game has great multiplayer. If you have played CoH this is basically the same game but without the base building. Basically everything is summoned from your main building now and the game is focused on holding points on the map now. It uses windows live which works ok, but sometimes takes forever to find games.
