i just install change to 4in1 4.28a, and i can not found on the device manager that my ide run on udma or pio mode, but on via 4.25a i can found it, anyone use this driver?
 
There used to be a tool, I think it was called "VIA DMA Tool" or something like that, in the Start>Programs. This tool let you enable and disable UDMA/PIO for your IDE devices, they may have used that again.
 
If you still can't find it, you may need to download the VIA Busmaster driver seperately. Go to Viahardware, and download the latest Busmaster driver. Then select the Miniport driver to install.
 
thx, i am currently back to 4.25a driver, the problem i have, i can not get udma mode enable on my secondary IDE
