About to try sushi...

I remember few things about Ohio, one of them was never to eat asian food there.

eh, this is from a nice grocery store (called The Fresh Market) and these rolls are pretty god damn good...

the tuna is fresh, as is the salmon... pretty good....

though, I am pretty full from walking around sampling what they had in the store...

I started with simple rolls like spicy tuna rolls. It's kinda easier to ignore the fact that you're eating raw fish meat when it's all chopped up into a puree-like mix and wrapped up inside of something. After that, I started eating rainbow rolls that had larger whole pieces of fish on them. It wasn't long before I was craving nigiri sushi with huge chunks of fish on them. Yum. :awe:

I have had lightly seared Ahi Tuna before, which is almost rare... but never fully rare... this is pretty damn good.

sushi kicks ass. it took me 5 legitimate tries to really like it. it grew on me more each time. i like the bigger rolls with the fried breading too... makin me hungry

No thanks. I'll never eat sushi and I haven't eaten fish nor seafood, except for prawns, in 15 years.

Skip the salmon, who can eat that shit?

Salmon is great, and very good for you too. Low in heavy metal toxins and high in omega 3s. If you don't like salmon, you've just never had good salmon. I don't like it fully cooked either, it tastes much better smoked or cured. Gravlax is great for example.

I like fish, but I would never go and eat sushi.
1/3 of the people end up with a diarreha, at least where I live.
It's just not worth it.

Fish is gross, I can eat fried Catfish with a side of Cajun fries but any other sort of fish, especially non fried fuck no.

grocery store sushi? wtf. You might as well eat sushi from a gas station.

If i had to i wouldn't mind eating some rolls from the grocery store if there weren't anything raw inside.

There is a pretty big difference in how the fish taste and smells in only one or two days.
