After 3 days straight of trying to get this thing to work ive FINALLY gotten windows installed with 2 ram sticks.

Now the LAN adapters wont work. They show up in device manager as working properly yet I can not connect to the internet whatsover.

any ideas anyone. please???

Did you install the Nvidia drivers that came with the motherboard?

Have you looked in the motherboard forums to see if others are having the same problems?

it sounds like you didn't install any of the drivers. stick in the cd that came with the mobo and install all the different drivers. you probably have to install the usb 2.0 drivers as well as the lan drivers. (and if you have onboard sound and video you need to install those too). sometimes video and usb 1.1 will work without the instalation but it will work much better when you install everything

Tell me where your yard, and I'll be there to catch it when you throw it out 😉

Seriously:
1. Update BIOS (Use a different computer to download BIOS & put it in floppy/CD)
2. If still troublesome, stick with minimum hardware (CPU, 1 stick of RAM, VGA) -> see what happens
3. Install the drivers from CD (or better yet, download the latest with a different computer)

Good luck

Seems like I heard someone having similar problems...solved it by installing windows with only 1 stick of ram, then installing second stick after all installed and updated? I may be thinking of something else, not sure...
