about to instal a radeon 32 ddr - any tips

I am about to install the above card into my p3 600e system with a msi bxmaster motherboard. This will be more or less the first time I ever upgraded a video card - is there any tips you have for me. I will be replacing a matrox g200







Also I know that this boad has some driver issues, what I want to know about that is , should I use the drivers that come on the cd or should I use the latest ones on the At web site

I dont have a dvd player so is it necessary to install the ati multimedia center - this piece of software I know has caused some conflicts in some systems

make sure your old video card drivers are removed first, the drivers that came on cd for me were unstable for me.. but the latest leaked drivers work perfect for me and are faster.

Make sure you have the cheapest long distance telephone rates to Canada, so when you call their tech line it won't bust your wallet..............!

I guess I should make some constructive comment also.............
Do the custom install and un-check the multi-media center and any others not needed.
Once your card is working you can re-install the un-needed stuff.
I used the included cd, but had to delete the GART(?) file to get the card installed on my KT7-R.
It IS worth the trouble to install this card, I hope you don't have the problems I did!

You can always go to a DVD-CDrom drive later.
I would highly recommend the Pioneer 16X - slot load, I really like the slot load part, I would like to see more mfgs' go to this slot over the tray load..................big difference!

Fasten his seat belt.hhahahhahehe it not that damn fast.Its ok but i had to yank mine and put my 5500 back in.the poor little32meg ddr radeon sits on the shelf getting all dusty.

Oops sorry. I dont want a flame war .It is a very nice card. It should install without a hitch.
