My GF is down in Texas right now. She said the storm is horrible where she is at, and expects not to have power for the night.

I got trees down all around the place here. I'm glad my car's OK.

Power went off a few times though. Scary stuff here.
 
Yeah, I'm at Rice U (in houston).

We had ourselves a little thunderstorm party when the front went over. My roommate is from Arizona and was taking pictures to prove to his friends at home that water really does fall from the sky sometimes.


It was quite a storm.

The city is basically at the water level, its nuts. Back in saint louis I'm used to seeing feilds draim heavy rains as it comes down. here, it will just sit there. haha, oh well. I guess thats the tradeoff for not having worn long sleeves yet this school year. hahahaha.
 
the whole city was built on a swamp.

there is a reason that uncle ben's used to be headquartered here, it's prime rice growing territory.
