I've been using XM for about 2 years now and so many not very welcomed changes have happened since then, that I am about to cancel my and my GF's service.

1st they removed the MTV and VH1 channels (hers)

Station 90 (latin) was changed for one that only plays that crappy reggaeton music (was one of my favorites

Channel 42, Heavy Metal was removed for almost a year and was only reinstated lately (kind of good news, but it took a lot of calls and complaining)

More recently channel 22 has been changed to some crappy station that plays rather old music when the original 22 was all about the latest POP music without the R&B, RAP, CRAP...

Oh yeah... and commercials are increasing.

I'm about to go sirius!

my brothers were happy with it the last year or two while theyve had it, a few weeks ago, the two stations they listened to 90% of the time were made online only, i think theyll cancel soon. they loved Luna (latin jazz) and music lab and were kinda pissed when they went off air

I am still on my 3 month trial but I will have to wait and see. I think my trial ends towards July. I have been listening to Bloomberg lately so I don't know. I am also listening to Pimsleur language CDs in my car, so I may cancel mine too and sell the receiver on FS or ebay.

haha - DishNetwork has Sirius. The goog thing is that they didn't remove - they just added sirius. Their old ones are still there.

I cannot listen to Stern (don't think he is funny at all). I use to love "watching" his show on E though!

He said "normal radio" which means 90% commercials and maybe 10% music!

So cancel it then. I've had it for about a year and love it. The recent changes are were mostly brought about by Clear Chanel the radio mafia. Google it...

lol, all of them. Direct wire in the Max, an XM Commander in the 944 and a SktFi2 in the GTO. I've got another XM Commander for the GTO, but I gotta take it apart to do the install, so its sitting happily in the box waiting for me to get around to it.

edit: More info, its about $23/month with all the radios active, but I use it daily. It seems worth it to me.

You know, you really should add pics of your cars to your sig. That would be sweet and I know you have some awesome pics of the Max.
