About to buy the parts, just want to make sure that I'm not missing something.

I need to build a new system from scratch that will be able to run some high end business applications very quickly. I'm not looking to spend too much money. I really just need a fast and stable processor, good amount of ram, reliable and stable motherboard, cheap video card- good 2d viewing, decent cd burner, sound and network is not necessary.

Here's kind of what I'm thinking

Processor: Athlon XP 1800+ (1.67GHz) Retail ($109)
-I'm not going to be overclocking at all. I just need something relatively cheap, fast, and really stable.
Motherboard: Asus A7N266-VM NVIDIA nFORCE 220 ($89)
-Need one to be very stable and pretty fast, don't need many extra features, cheaper.
Video: included w/ board
-Good output, but no games or 3d editing.
Ram: 256mb Crucial DDR Ram ($67.49)
Floppy Drive: Samsung ($9)
CD-ROM: Lite On 32x12x40 CDRW ($60)
Hard Drive: MAXTOR Quiet Drive 40GB 7200RPM ($80) or WESTERN DIGITAL 40GB 7200RPM ($70)
Case: EVERCASE E4252W005A ($25)
Power Supply: ENERMAX EG301P-VE (FMA) 300W ($49)

From Newegg.com, which is where I am planning on ordering everything the price comes out to $523 shipped. Are there any changes that your would make? Thanks.
Thanks a lot for any help, and just post, pm, or e-mail me if you need more info. Thanks again.

epox MB 4g4a (not the + version) with onboard video will suit your neds just fine.98 bucks

or a nforce MB to go with the athlon XP 2000+ is also an excellent choice. very stable and has everything you need onboard. can be had for 76 bucks for the asus nforce 220. Mwace has the epox mb, newegg has the asus nforce 200 one.

Both of those boards look great. Now I just have to decide between the two. The Athlon setup seems a bit cheaper, so I may go that route. Does anybody else have any advice. Thanks.

If you need your system to be quiet (office environment), I'd probably go with the P4 solution, as they tend to be quieter.

(I s'pose a AX7 + super quiet 80mm fan would work though if you go the amd route).

As for 2D, how 'bout matrox?
