After the horrible crimes that were committed, I think most of us have a good feeling inside that Muhammed has received the death penalty. I live within 7 miles of one of the shootings and within 30 minutes of the others. However, I don't think I'd publically smile and joke about death in such a manner.

no one is undermining the seriousness of their crimes but the attornies are professionals doing their job. in private they can talk/laugh, do no matter what they want but i think there is certain protocol which must be followed to let the whole judicial system work and publicly laughing/smiling is not part of it

To clarify, I did not see the press conference, so I cannot comment as to the professionalism of the lawyers involved. However, I stand by my position that in the case of Muhammad and Malvo, I would cheerfully see them go to their deaths by state-mandated execution. And yes, I would laugh, smile, and joke at their expense.
