And my friends wonder how I get chicks. Heh. This is exactly what I tell them, and it's pretty much the only way a "nice guy" can get a date. 🙂

Please listen to the advice of this guy. His description fits me perfectly. I found the perfect girl this year after 18 years, or atleast I thought she was perfect, but after 2 months, 4 days, and about 25 minutes, she dumped me. I did exactly everything that was mentioned in that post and in the forum link, I was always happy, we never fought, I always overlooked the problems in our relationship and pretended everything was perfect because I couldn't believe I was with someone like her after being rejected so much in the past, but by doing this, I blew it anyway.

Well, I'd have to say that this is almost as moronic as all the people out there whining about "nice guys finish last". Whoever wrote this obviously think they have it all figured out, and maybe they do, for some girls. But there are a lot of different types of girls out there, and believe it or not, some of them like "nice guys". Some girls like conservative guys wearing polo shirts. Some girls like so called "bad boys" who are, in fact, just idiots. Girls like all sorts of different types of guys, as long as they have something going for them. If you're funny, great. Fun to be around, super. Hot, well looks count for a lot too 😉

I guess I'd say, be yourself. Being a poser is not going to win you any girls, and even if it did work, the girls you'd get wouldn't be the ones you'd have fun with. I know people think it's stupid, but be yourself! Nothing else works in the long run.

Take my word for it, girls like nice guys. Girls are always saying that they like that I'm a "nice guy". So, to all the truly nice guys out there, don't listen to idiots like this guy (not Jero), be yourself. You have a hell of a lot more going for you than all the "exciting" guys out there.
