? about MBM

Well just downloaded MBM and am quite confused about the temp sensors on my board. i have 3 sensors to choose from below are the names and results of each please explain what they are cuz i have no idea:

VIA686B-1 - 23 c
VIA686B-2 - 57 c (i'm assuming this is cpu temp)
VIA686B-3 - 26 c

not sure which is case temp and have no idea what the other sensor is

686b-1 - I have no idea what this one does, but in the last 6 monts on my machine it has yet to change from 23*c, so I don't think it actually does anything
686b-2 - cpu (you'll find this thermisitor inside the CPU socket)
686b-3 - case (this will be somewhere on the motherboard, on mine it's near the IDE headers, but really could be anywhere).
