About Kazaa

I recently read an article regarding the iTune and the Kazaa. Here
What do you guys think about the author?

I feel he doesnt know anything about the RIAA nor the P2P philosophy. All he knows is that, "Oh, ppl download music from Kazza, so that they are illegal." "Oh, RIAA is right to suit people who downloads music from the Internet"

I am not saying that downloading illegal music from Kazza is good. But beside downloading music, Kazza had a lot of other functions that had contributed to the Interenet.

What do you think?

Um, this article is almost exclusively about iTunes. It mentions Kazaa, but doesn't say that it's bad, or that the RIAA is right to sue people.

I'm just not quite sure about that. It's a win or lose. Sometimes it's impossible to gain access to the file you want even if you're a Kazaa Master like me

I only use it in hotels with high speed access. It exposes me to too much risk otherwise.

I've done a lot of "tape trading" on p2p programs.
All band/performer endorsed personal recordings by the crowd.

There are whole communities devoted to this practice, but p2p programs have opened up many channels that just were not there before.

While Kazaa may in fact have legit uses unfortunately the majority of its user download copywrighted matieral.

Also Kazaa is chock full of spyware crap.

And don't say you use Kazaa Lite to download legal files because Kazaa lite is illegal due to the fact it uses Kazaa's network yet does not allow for the spyware that is Kazaa's revue stream.
