About how much do data recovery services charge to recover hard drive data?

My cousin's computer got zapped, or at least I assume that is what happened. The power supply, motherboard, and hard drive (and probably more) do not work. She wants the data from the hard drive though for her business.

A lot about 900 bucks to get a data listing more to retrieve data, it might be more im not sure that's the last ive heard though.

For those who just have a simple setup at home, NTBACKUP works fine for most. Just be sure you include the "system state" in your backups.

Disk recovery agents typically ask "What's the data worth to you?" and the negotiating starts.....
