Yeah, unless you get a DVI-VGA adaptor (many cards come with this small adaptor; otherwise it's a ~$10 item). Motherboards with 2 RAMDACs (like the Radeon 8500, 9000, 9500 and 9700 series, as well as the GF4/MX series) let you run dual monitors when you use the VGA port and the DVI port.

So on these video cards you can run two CRT monitors or one LCD and one CRT monitor at the same time (dual monitors). It's great!
