Hi All...
Recently I cancelled my earthlink DSL service (didn't want to extend my contract) and want to try another DSL service provider. I have Westell DSL modem from Earthlink for free. When I asked another dsl provider they always tell me to buy their modem because they said that the modem I got from earthlink won't be compatible with theirs.
Is that true ? I just don't want to spend more money to buy modem or contract another year to get dsl modem for free.
Anybody know good dsl provider for LA downtown area ?

dsl is costing around $50 in la now 🙁 but whatever you do don't get pacbell. it's just horrible
