I noticed something today. The old katmai p3's had 2 steppings kB0 and kC0. The Coppermine p3's currently have 2 steppings(cA2,cB0) and will have a third one(cC0).Im sure someone thought of this before but could the k mean katmai and the c Coppermine????

This is my first post in these forums i am a long time reader first time poster.Sorry for my grammar, spelling i am a french canadian.

I though someone had to reply to show that someone has read this 🙂

I would have thought that the k means katmai and the c means commermine

Erm.....generally yes. d for Deschutes, k for Katmai and c for Coppermine.

Does anyone remember if they actually used letter steppings for the Klamath and the PPro? They used alpha and beta steppings for the cache on the PPro, I know that.
