aborting windows xp install

QueBert

Lifer
was having Ubuntu problem so I tried to do a repair install of windows, it copied all the files then rebooted, but still went to GRUB. I ended up removing the Ubuntu partions and GRUB totally. But now when it reboots I don't see the "load previous XP" just "windows xp professional" which goes directly into setup. I want to bypass this, as my XP install is fine and doesn't need to be reinstalled. I tried to let the install run and as it did last time it stops @ 34 minutes, something is causing it to hang up.

I know how to get into the command line durring the XP install, and can run regedit but how do I tell it to not launch the XP setup.

HELP thanks 🙂
