Aborted-baby organ program called

A developing effort in the United States to turn the organs of aborted babies into a commodity is a technology bereft of morals.

This is tantamount to what Hitler did during the second world war under the guise of scientific research to create the "perfect race".The only difference in the 21st century is the babies are killed in the womb and their organs used for experiments. Disgusting.

Maybe you should vote for less Government, and more individual rights.

-John
The 'pro-life' movement is about as more big government, less individual rights as it gets.

Individual self-ownership is the core of capitalist philosophy.

I have no issue with being obtuse (it's easier than actually thinking) but in this case the target is pretty clearly defined, and you missed it.

What if you could create a being from a human stem cell that had hundreds of kidneys that produced their own anti rejection drugs and no brain in the host. Would that be an ethical creation? What if it could be done with a chimp that has a brain? What if it could be done to a person sentenced for execution. What about a tomato plant that grew human kidneys?

Sorry, I don't pay too much attention to the trolls.

We're almost all trolls. No one comes here presenting well thought out and reasonable arguments, it's all about grandstanding, cheer leading, twisting facts to fit an agenda, and calling each other names. We come here to sneer at at people that don't think the same way we do, and to bask in the enlightened joy of those that do.

Once you understand what actually drives the "discussion" here, the fun is in taking an occasional pot shot at whoever is the most annoying at that moment.
There are of course a few that actually understand the difference between reality and the P&N dream world, those are the guys who's posts you should really read and not skim.

So,m are you part of the problem(Troll) or part of the solution(not a troll)?

Ethics gets pretty gray as you stray into the realm of creation. Intent is always the first criteria considered, results the second, ownership is third, and profit trumps them all.

There definitely can't be if no one attempts it.

True enough. But it will always devolve into a shit storm, it's just the way this place is. I accepted that long ago, and don't bother trying to change anyone's mind because so very few are capable of giving up a preconceived idea, or admitting that they might be wrong.

Zorkorist and I have unfinished business on this particular discussion.
