abit ti 4200?

how is this card? it appears to be the only ti 4200 in stock at a local store here at a pretty good price (253 CDN ~= 152 USD) cheaper than the RADEON 8500

if this isn't too bad i'll call them up tomorrow to make sure it's really in stock and go pick one up. can't stand my voodoo 3 much longer.

I just picked up the PNY version to replace an ATI 7500 and uhhh WOW.

you are right. anything would be a drastic improvement over my v3. i'll probablyget the abit

i'm just glad that i waited for a couple of days more otherwise i'd have gotten an 8500 for more ! :Q

bump for this topic. I'd love to hear someone's impressions on this card. Specifically....is 64mb ok vs getting 128mb.

Search the forums...you'll find lots of opinions on which version of the 4200 is better. The general view seems to be that getting the 128 mb version of the card is better in the long run.

all the geforce cards are pretty much the same unless you plan to overclock

i'm waiting for another 128 mb ti 4200 to come out. i would get the MSI but I can't risk getting a video card with a loud fan. noise really ticks me off.
