Abit TH7II-RAID question?

GHz

Member
To all Abit TH7II(RAID) owners, I have a quick question to ask. I recently read a review about the new Abit BD7-RAID board with the i845D chipset and in the review I read I saw that this board has fixed PCI and fixed AGP options in the BIOS. I also know, from downloading the manual for the TH7II-RAID that this motherboard also has the fixed AGP option in the BIOS. My question is concerning the fixed PCI option in the TH7II-RAID. Is this option available in this motherboard? Thanks for your answers.

P.S. For those who will tell me I should build AMD instead of Intel, I already have an AMD system and am very satisfied with it.

that "fixed" option isnt really all that.

it doesnt keep your pci at "33mhz no matter what" etc.
youre just telling your bios youd prefer 32mhz over say 41mhz. (1/3 1/4 1/5 pci dividers)
although it sounds like a great idea - its useless to the experienced.

hopefully they will eventually have seperate adjustments for each item. (agp, pci, fsb, memory, system bus)
that would really be cool 🙂
