This isn't a review but just a quick comment on how these two slockets compared in my system.

I have had an Abit slocket in my system for about five months running a PIII 550E @802. Never had a problem until I upgraded to a 700. Couldn't get my system stable past 864. Tried everything possible but still a no go. I got to the point were I was going to use a peltier but I decided to get a new slocket.

Enter the IWILL slocket II. This thing rocks. Got my 700 to 933 @1.8V with no problems. I can loop 3dmark and quake and RC5 and not have any problems. Has anyone else had a similar experience with these two slockets? Makes me wonder how much faster my old 550 could go. :)

Yet many underestimated the Iwill SlocketII and instead went Abit or MSI. Now that they tried it, they know how good it is.

Edit <<GO WHITESOX!!!>> Not trying to be offensive or anything, but my Mariners are kicking their arses.

I can dream, can't I. I know they won't win anything. They are jinxed just as bad as the Cubs and Red Sox. Well you know the old saying. What till next year.

optoman, early revisions of the Abit Slotket!!! reportedly had problems w/ FSB's >124MHz. I remember reading somewhere of rev#'s 82 and 84, where the 82 revisions had that problem.

Jeff H - Yep, I've got a v 0.81 Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone know if Abit would give me a replacement?

I bought my first IWill Slocket II for building my friend's new Celeron on an i810 Slot-1 board. I've been pretty impressed with it and somehow I'm glad I didn't save a mere $10 to go with the MSI version.
