Just saw that Abit has a new 415-D nForce board. Some highlights:

nVIDIA MCP-D built in Audio Processing Unit w/ 256 total voices
Supports AC3 encoding
Realtek ALC650 (AC-Link)

2 Channels Bus Master IDE Ports supporting up to four Ultra DMA 33/66/100
2 Channels Bus Master IDE Ports supporting up to four Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133 (RAID 0/1/1+0)
Ultra DMA 133/ RAID
High Point HPT372 IDE Controller
Ultra DMA 133MB/sec data transfer rate
RAID 0 (striping mode for boosting performance)
RAID 1 (mirroring mode for data security)
RAID 0 + 1(striping and mirroring)

2 USB Connectors
On board USB header for two extra USB channels
10/100Mb LAN port connector
Audio connector (Line-in, Line-out, Mic-in, and Game Port)
On board VIA VT6202 USB 2.0 header for four extra USB 2.0 channels

1 AGP 1.5v slot, 5 PCI slots

It's nice to see another player. And it's really getting hard to wait for nForce2.

Could be cheaper than NEC's part. I dunno...

Yeah, I noticed the via usb with trepidation. I have enough usb problems with my current via mobo. I also noticed they are using the Realtek audio and I didn't include the info about using Realtek for LAN and that it's a "manufacturer option".

I don't get why they aren't using the nForce's LAN option? :Q

GoogleGear has the ASUS A7N266-C with nForce audio, NIC, modem, etc. for $124. Not too bad of a deal IMO, but if this Abit board is anywhere near $124 I'm grabbing it. :D
