Considered by many to be THE nforce2 mobo to have, mwave has it for $39 + shipping. I don't know if shipping varies by location, but the total for me was $47.87. Good deal to me, so I pulled the trigger. It is refurbed, but I couldn't tell. Came with all of the accessories.

WOW...nice. This is probably one of the best XP mobo out there along with the Asus A78N-E Deluxe board.

Good deal.

I'm reading the link, are these Refurbed by ABIT or MWAVE? Any info on warranty?

Yeah, refurb info. I guess I should've mentioned that this isn't for the faint of heart. I won't know if mine works until my proc gets here early next week. Even if mine works, it won't mean yours will or vice versa I guess. I don't think it's too big of a risk though.

Not only that, if you find out it doesn't work, you can't return it either.

I couldnt pass this up, and it says you can return doa boards, and there reseller ratings look pretty good. You do have to pay return shipping if its dead though.

I purchased one from them a couple of weeks ago and it's been running 24/7 without issues, obviously your mileage will very. I have also ordered many parts from mwave and never had any problems.

Nice price, and I agree that it's probably the best nForce2 motherboard, with Soundstorm and everything (although I may be a bit biased myself since I've used one for almost two years now :D)

Very tempting for those of us who bit on one of the Fry's CPU/mobo deals... you figure it out.

If anyone is worried about possibly getting a DOA unit because it's a refurb, order one from me. I have one that's gaurenteed to be DOA on arrival :) She led a good life....

They still have these in stock. My MSI K7N2 would post after I changed a few settings in the bios on Thursday afternoon. Couldn't even clear it. So I ordered one of these (newegg has them too, but it says OEM, and I wasn't sure if it came with everything), and picked it up will call the same day. Had it installed by evening and it works great.

Side note, on the previous motherboard (which I had RMA'd twice already.) My corsair 1GB DDR400 dual channel ram wouldn't work with both sticks in there, dual channel or not (would fail in memtest, test #5.) They worked great in this motherboard. I recommend it for anyone who needs a motherboard for an athlon XP series chip.

AXP suddenly seems very worth it. Think about it, you can get yourself a board for 40, a barton for 50, some cheap value ram for 50, and a 6800 NU and you got yourself a pretty fast/cheap system. Heck, take that barton up to 2.4 and unlock the 6800 pipes and you can definently fly with the latest games today for 300 :0.

Except the Barton isn't guaranteed to hit 2.4GHz

I'll admit that it is tempting because I believe my NF7-S rev2 died and now I've got a XP-M that can do 2.3GHz just sitting doing nothing...although I'm not sure the CPU is entirely healthy either, I wish I were loaded so I could afford to play around more.

Ordered for $39 + $7 ship then got promotional code -$10 (for renew account) They made me update my old account by typing in my old customer # and email address then pick new password. Kind of confusing to do, I had to have them email me my old customer number. Oh well, they gave me $10 off for my trouble. $36.00 to the house!!
HOT DEAL, . very pleased.:)
