Abit NF7 & EVGA 6800 Video Card

Of course it's fast enough. The Athlon64 would be even faster, but there's no reason for you not to get the card if you can afford it. The Athlon XP is no slouch either when it comes to 3D apps/games.

I had the same system except Overclocked to 2.6 ghz, and you might see a little bottleneck but the difference with that video card will be amazing. I use the xfx 6800 unlocked pipes, and nothing ever looked so good.
