ABIT KV8 Pro and VIA Velocity help

Whenever I do a cold boot, it shows up VIA Velocity Networking Family Giga-bit Ethernet Adapter, however, when I reboot it shows VIA Velocity Networking Family Giga-bit Ethernet Adapter #2. When #2 is appended, when I disable the adapter, it gives me a BSOD when I enable it again...

Disabling Cool'N'Quiet works but I want to use the feature (don't wanna stress my computer all the time...). Is there a solution to this problem?

Running all stock settings.
