I saw that the Abit KT7A was already being shipped and should be available for sale from some retailers already. I was trying to decide between this and the MSI Turbo. I think my deciding factor was gonna be which one debuted first. Looks like I'm getting the Abit if I can find it before I see that the Turbo is out. Just thought I would let you guys know.
 
As A matter of fact Hard OCP is were i found this info. As soon as I finished posting i noticed that someone else must have clicked his post button a second before mine. Oh well I'm always last to know everything

Any of you guys know if the Abit KT7A-Raid board supports DDR RAM? Also, what are the big differences between it and the KT7-Raid? Thanks in advance.
 
it doesn't support DDR RAM, since it's the KT133a chipset (DDR mobos use the AMD760 and ALi Magik chipsets).

The only difference between the KT7a RAID and the KT7 is the chipset ("a" uses the kt133a and the other uses kt133).The kt133a supports 133mhz FSB/ram).
 
Yeah I have already seen the board at ajump.com, but they are not on resellerratings, so i don't think I will buy, unless I get some recommendations for ajump.
 
Even though it a lot cheaper at ajump I will probably stick with Axiontech. I have purchaced stuff from them many times with no conplaints. I just can't make up my min Epox or Abit. I currently have Epoz 8KTA2 no complaints.

In my opinion this board will be better than the epox. And even thogh the board may say it goes to 183 your not likely to get that high.
