Abit KT7A doesnt work, please help if you fix it ill send you computer hardware :)

I just got my abit KT7A motherboard, put it all together and used all the same stuff as my old system except the motherboard, When I push the power button it starts up, but after like 5-10 secconds it shuts down. I tried a different power supply. diffrent on button, RAM, CPU, cleared the CMOS everything basically nothing works I put it all back into my old system works fine anyone know what the hells going on this is pissing me off 🙂

One of two things. One... You have to plug in the CPU fan to the CPU fan plug, any other plug and it will shut down to protect itself cause it doesn't detect a fan for the CPU. I had to deal with this problem as I don't have a fan, I use water cooling. Two, try unplugging the power supply cable into the motherboard then reset the bios, then plug it back in. LMK if it works. I will do what I can to help you. But I don't want anthing in return.

like those guys said... two Fan headers right next to each other, plug it into the one farthest away from the socket... that is the right one..

No problem man. Glad to be of assistance. Now all that's left for you to do is overclock the crap out of it. heheh
