ABIT KT7 raid HSF Installation trouble! HELP!!!

I just got my abit kt7 RAID mobo, and since this is my first time building a new computer, I am having HUGE amounts of trouble with the heatsink installation. Basically i am trying to attach the clip to the edge of the mobo ( the other side got in quickly ) and for the love of god I cannont get the damn thing to stay!!! The thermal tape is still on since i want to practice first...

Any suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated.

P.S > I had to bend the cpu thermometer, is this okay or did i just screw up royally?:frown:

Oh yeah it's the heatsink that came with AMD retail box.

If This then just shift the hsf towards the 462 a bit,flex the clip, and carefully use a screwdriver to help push it down. Make absolutely sure that the hsf base doesn't rock or you will end up with a cracked core.
