Abit KT7-Raid - Can't Flash Bios

Tried flashing my bios to the new UL version.

Went through alll the steps correctly.

After I hit "enter" to execute it, it just sits there at the flash screen and doesn't apear to be doing anything?

I let it sit for over an hour since I was afraid to reboot.

Finally gave up and rebooted. Luckly nothing went wrong and the original bios is still intact.

Any ideas?

What BIOS version do you have? Are you following the steps outlined on the Abit website? Are you upgrading the BIOS using a floppy?
I have no problems with the UL+1.03 bios. You should place the flash program and the bios file on a floppy and flash it from there, rather than the hard drive.

Just rebooted and check the version.

Stupid me! I assumed that since this was a brand new board that it still had the old version.

Checking I see that I indeed have "UL".

I guess the flash program was doing what it was suposed to (some kind of message would be nice though).
