Abit KT7 - Duron 750

I just got a new abit board, and Duron 750. Installed everything, but system won't boot. Everything gets power, but no video, no prompts or anything. Doesn't try to Boot from FD. tried another video card. no go. Bad motherboard?
Any help would be appreciated.

Best bet is to go over everything again, RAM, Video card... also make sure you use the plastic MB standoffs, otherwise you might short your board to the tray (Ive done it myself) and the PC wont boot.
 
i have actually tried pulling up the board to make sure it wasn't have problems touching the case. Reseated all memory. tried all RAM sockets and different memory. reseated the CPU numerous times. nothing. Fans all spin, drive all turn on, but nothing else.

Do a search for this - loads of posts about that!
Had the same problem - answer - turn the HSF fan thru 180 degrees and then it worked perfectly......weird but true.....not the heatsink......just the fan that screws on top.........!
 
Do you have the Fan connected to the 1st Mobo Header???
If you don't your mobo shuts off in like 5 secs to avoid buring the CPU

PS: 1 out of like every 3 problems has to do with people not connecting their HSF to the right Header
