Abit KT7 bootup problem

I have a Abit KT7-RAID motherboard with a Duron 650 oc to 800 at 1.65V. System is stable (temp 47oC) under win98.
But, the computer has to be booted up twice for the POST screen to come on. The first boot up always result in a blank screen. The same problem occurs when I enter BIOS or use the reset button.

Any help will be appreciated.

I had this EXACT same problem with my KT7 and Thunderbird 700. In being extremely frustrated, I looked everywere for jumpers and what not. I came across a jumper labeled "ENSTR1" just to the right of the first PCI slot. (the one right below the agp slot) I decided to move the jumper over and hope I didn't fry the mobo. IT WORKED!!! I tried it several times, power off on the case, reset button, save and exit from bios, it worked EVERY time! If this works for you, spread the word!
