Abit KR7A-RAID PROBLEMS

I am unable to reach post with four unbuffered PC2100 256 MB crucial DDR ram modules installed. I have a Athlon XP 2000+ processor installed with a two drive striping raid array and a Gforce 2GTS video card and three optical drives. If I drop back to 3 ram modules I can post and boot up no problems. I have tested all four Dimm sockets and they work on three ram modules regardless of placement in the dimm sockets. I have updated the Bois to the newest available and the problem still continues. If I post with three modules installed and up the ram timing then shut down install the fourth module and reboot the system posts but the system becomes unstable. I have changed every setting in the bios but cant get a stable result. When I try to use spd to detect the ram and set timing on four ram modules the machine still fails to post. Bois Fail safe defaults do not work on four dimms. Somtimes the bios resets to default settings if booting on four dimms fails. With three ram modules installed the system seems to be stable. Any ideas?
