Abit KD7 : Changing Voltage???

Helllloooo. Im having troubles with a Geforce 6800gt and an Abit KD7 working together.... PNY suggested changing the MB AGP voltage from 1.5 to either 1.6 or 1.7.... MB appears to control the settings automatically. Is there a way to do this manually or is this always done automatically?????

PNY techs were great by the way but these two just dont seem to want to work together!!!
