Abit it7 Max ver2.0 setup question

ok heres my problem....i have a sony dvd burner, and 2 maxtor 80's......the mobo comes with 4 ide ports.....port 1 is primary, port 2 is secondary, and ports 3 and 4 are for ata 133/raid......i put the burner as primary master and the 1 hd on port 3 (master) and 1 hd on port 4 (master).....how do i set it up?.....i ran xp and it says it cant detect a hd.....the manual says something like "install the drivers for the highpoint raid controller and then set the bios to boot ata133".....any solutions/ideas?

go to bios and set your boot up in this order: 1st: CD-ROM (sony dvd ) 2nd: ATA RAID 133 maxtor 80gb x 2)... place your windows xp cd in your dvd drive and the HPT 374 driver disk (that came with the motherboard) into your floppy drive.
watch as setup starts coz it will prompt you to press F6 ....then later you got to press "S" then later you'll have to press "enter" then the setup will continue...

*reminder---- if you place both drives in IDE 3- dont forget to set one of them as master and the other one as slave...

IT7 max2 V2 is a good motherboard, i know you'll be happy with it...
