ABIT IT-90 HD

After reading some it looks like this is geared more towards an HTPC, but the folks at HF seem to think it will OC fairly well. Only thing to do is wait and find out

Looks like a nice board... from what I've heard HDMI's video interface is the same as DVI, so would an HDMI->DVI cable work to drive a normal 20" LCD (1680x1050)?

Yeah, it does look like its more geared towards the HTPC users. Which kinda makes you winder why Fatal1ty would put his name on it? The IB-90 HD is supposedly still out there still so maybe its more geared for normal mainstream and gaming use since it has what looks like a nice heatpipe system on it. One rumor puts the Fatal1ty board of being released around first week of March. We'll have to wait and see though if that becomes fact or not. Havent heard when the IB-90 HD version gets released yet. Hopefully soon.

Yes, it works, and a HDMI to DVI connector is included as an accessory in the retail box.

yeah i can't wait till matx boards start having full featured overclocker/enthusiast bios's

i might pick one up to replace a worthless ecs board i got if the reviews show good stuff

Both are available... just not for socket LGA 775. 😛

I've been waiting for a board like this as well. Let's hope that the Fatal1ty name doesn't make this board too expensive, when Biostar and Gigabyte boards are overclocking like crazy for just over $100.

should be in the $120-130 range afaik.
The Biostar & Gigabytes mATX with integrated gfx for C2D don't clock that well iirc (mind you until someone tests this we don't know about it either).

to be honest iam close to sayin good bye to mATX & C2D. Iam leaning to wait for the new AMD CPUs and mATX boards, i heard they will bring us nice new features.

Please elaborate on these nice and new features.

lower power consumption and maybe even the ability to switch off the pci-e gpu and using onboard video on-the-fly, though iam not quite sure if that will really happen.
