Ok guys... this is going to sound stupid but I've tried everything I can think of.
I was playing around bored... and changed the power on from "button only" to a password. Now the computer simply won't turn on at all. Typing the password does nothing (usb wireless keyboard).
The power button doesn't work. So I did the CMOS jumper switch... pulled the motherboard battery... nothing. Still won't turn on with the button, and typing in the password which was "on" doesn't turn it on either.
Any ideas?
Only thing left I can think of is that maybe I need a crappy old straight Ps2 keyboard to enter the password? But that would be really poor technology... especially not to warn people that the password function will break your computer unless you have an ancient keyboard.
Any advice much appreciated.
