Stock paste shouldn't be THAT bad on load.

The only thing I played with is the ip35 beta bios, that was it. Have you tried contact asus about getting the beta BIOS?

I have m630a17.zip and m630a18.zip on my backup drive if you need one

Don't forget Abit went out of business 3yrs ago or so ...

I got nothing .. they haven't replied to my emails, and I didn't save it anywhere 🙁

Abit is dead, they went out of business years ago. Too bad, too, I still really like my ip35 pro and my 2 x ip35e's, I would have happily bought more mobos from them.

edit: whoops, I see somebody beat me to the punch on that. Abit was actually bought out, I think by foxconn though I'm not sure on that. Whomever it was, they tried to use the brand for a while but eventually just gave it up.

So how do you like the q9950 ? I've been thinking about upgrading my e6300 to Q9905 ($100 cheaper than the Q9950) or upgrade to 2500K. Hum... Does the abit ip35 have to run the FSB a bit slower than a modern mb ?

I had an e8400 and upgraded, the only reason was BC2 didn't run properly on dual core for some reason. Then I went from Q9550 to i5 2500k...that was awesome 😀

I had a E8400 with GTX260 before. Then I upgraded to the Q9550 and bought a GTX560Ti from Gainward. The performance-boost was epic!

btw.. I'm gonna buy an Intel-board.

INTEL. omfg! but hell, for that board a should get support for at least next 3 years ^^
