I was set on getting the Asus P5K-E(AP-Wifi), but I keep hear about how good a board IP35 Pro is, and now I start to consider it...

I read lots of reviews but none really tell the difference between them Directly.

Does IP35 Pro worth the $25 extra?

Two advantages about the IP35 Pro I can think of are the extra RAID controller and the ability to control the fan speed of up to 6 fans (5 system fans and the CPU fan) via the BIOS/uGuru software.

I've been looking at both boards as well and I believe they offer the same 6 x SATA connectors via the ICH9R and 2 x eSATA via the JMicron controller. I see no mention of an extra RAID controller on the ABIT board.

I'm not sure about fan control on the ASUS board tho, the OP would have to hit the manual.

There are some differences on the rear connectors in terms of what's available. Look at the pics on Newegg.

I have heard some reports that the placement of the x16 PCI-Express slot on the ASUS board can be problematic when using "huge" (long) video cards. Apparently the card can interfere with some of the SATA connectors. There seems to be a little more room on the ABIT board.

Anyone know it has any problem with 8800GT?

on the abit they are turned sideways which avoids interfering with the gfxcards but in some smaller cases can make it hard to connect due to HDD cages being close to them.

IMO, there really isn't a whole lot of difference between these boards.

What part of the decision are you still hung up on?
