ABit IP35-E for $66.32 after $30 MiR

Seems to be a great board based on threads in the Motherboards section, hope Abit comes through the rebates on this.

IP35-E was a great board. I suspect this one is good too. Only problem I see is based on looks I give it a 2/10 while the -E I give a 9/10.

Yeah, the -E is definitely sexier and has a few more heatsinks than this one does, I figure I can put those on myself and save a few bucks if I need to tho.

Noticed that it's using Intel ICH7, not ICH9, so it doesn's support AHCI, which kind of sucks. Ahh well, guess I'll just wait for another board to go on sale.

Anyone has any clue if the IP35-E might go back on sale? I'm also regretting that i missed out on the sale (i even saved the rebate form, just hesitated on buying the board).

IIRC the IP35-E is the better version of the board, they discontinued it b/c it was to good and similar to their more expensive board, the IP35-PRO.

hence they made this so its not as a good as board o/cing wise vs the IP35-E

Did I miss something? Everyone is saying "the ip35-e" is a better board yet when i click the link it is for the ip35-e.

it seems like the original post was not on -e version, but now op has updated it with -e version.
