not a hullucination, my e8400 did the same thing. for whatever reason the bios will say 9.5x, but it will only be 9x in windows. many other people have reported the same thing. just a bios bug.

Thanks. Used the Abit windows flash utility and it worked just fine. Reset my CMOS by moving the jumper after flashing, re-entered settings, running just fine. Didn't realize the C1E and EIST functions were messed up in the first place, but whatever.

Is this BIOS 17 for the IP35? Will it work without issue on the IP35-E? And should we also presume that an official IP35-E BIOS update is therefore imminent?
