Abit ic7-max3 & Abit system monitor question

When I run the abit system monitor program which monitors temps and such, I notice a drop in the fan rpm's and my system runs a little quieter. Anyone else notice this?

Also I'm trying to upgrade my system signature and it won't allow me because I have the _ symbol in my name, any help with this?
