Abit BX6 Rev. 1 to Slot-T/Celeron 1.4Ghz?

Looking for advice before I plunk down some cash.

I am looking for a cheap (< $100) upgrade for my system.

I have a Abit BX6 Rev. 1 motherboard with a Celeron 366. This is one of the older slot-1 motherboards.

According to Upgradeware, I can use one of their "Slot-T" adapter to connect a Celeron 1.4Ghz to my Slot-1 motherboard (about $20)

I'm looking at upgrading to a Celeron 1.4Ghz (Which goes for about $60 from newegg).

I'm getting confused in the new chip jargon (FC-PGA vs. PPGA & Tualatin vs whatever).

Will this combination work?

maybe.

i am fighting this exact combo right now and will know in a few days. but the issue may be the PSU and the geforce4. we will see.

if you want to konw what happened use the email in my profile and sned me a message in a few days.

I use Slot-T and I love it!!
The 1.4 that you are looking at is a Tualatin
Tualatin are the last core that Intel made for the P3
I would get a 1Ghz or 1.1Ghz and try to overclock it
1Ghz to 1.3Ghz
1.1Ghz to 1.4Ghz
